2011 Voodoo Experience - Day 3

Founder of Fool’s Gold Records,  world famous DJ/Producer A-Trak recently released this mix via Fool’s Gold radio. A mix that he recorded prior to boarding Holy Ship earlier last week. In my opinion the Canadian born music entusiast has proven time and time again that he is the world’s greatest DJ, his talents on the turntables are unmatched and he knows how to get a crowd popping, not to mention his extremely unique production skills which only add to his track record. This particular mix is extremely versatile, and perfect for any party setting, composed of a bit of soul, disco, hip-hop and of-course house. Fool’s Gold has built up a stellar reputation in the music industry these past few years and proven that they are a force to be reckoned with. Great mix to start off the year, really liking the commentary by A-Trak!

At a young age I discovered my interest in music business through distributing songs amongst friends and family, as well as constantly scouring the internet for new audio material. This part-time hobby spurred my desire to become involved in the music industry, in-turn leading to the creation of BleedHouse.com. Through the emergence in popularity of Bleed House, I was able to make long-lasting connections in the electronic dance music community that allowed me to further my involvement in the industry. After working for and alongside multiple publications, event curators and artist representatives I have grown familiar with the practices of the business, expanded my range of musical appreciation and developed an understanding for the artistry behind the music.
