Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – Wakanda [Release]

Wakanda1

The Belgian duo consisting of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have always been known for delivering big room bangers. “Wakanda” was first previewed by SHM on their One Last Tour, which is where the hype for the “Wakanda” built up. Finally, we have the official release via Axtone and we couldn’t be more thrilled. This banger will destroy any kind of dance-floor or festival and you can expect it to be the next “Atom” of DJ sets worldwide. Kudos to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for this heavy hitting anthem.

This is going to be a massive year for the duo known as W&W.They are already set to compliment Armin van Buuren at this years State of Trance in Madison Square Garden, and now they have released a collabo with Ummet Ozcan off of Hardwell’s Revealed Records titled “The Code.” This tune is right on par with every W&W release. Their originality, detail to production, and ability to keep a crowd raging has convinced me that they are legit. Grab “The Code” on BeatPort and stay tuned for a big year from W&W.

Carnage & Borgore – Incredible [Release]

6653028Fellow producers Carnage and Borgore, previewed their collaboration  “Incredible” late last month and it received quite the applause from the EDM community. The two definitely stepped outside their comfort zones to create this tune via Spinnin’ Records forfeiting their respective genres to compose this banger. Both extremely successful artists on their own, with individual tastes and styles of edm, yet their collaborative effort seems to display a particular chemistry.  Originally debuted by Borgore at his NYC UKF performance this track definitely stands out.

Eric Prydz – Essential Mix (02.02.13)

208955_10150944284166962_334297598_n

Eric Prydz has been in the game for a long time, and is a veteran when it comes to mastering his mixes and live sets. For those mainstream Pryda fans that have only been exposed to hits, such as Allein, Pjanoo, and 2night, then you have only taken but a minor step inside the genius mind that is Eric Prydz. In this essential mix on BBC Radio 1, over 80% of the tracks played are unreleased, which speaks to the distinctive approach of this music legend. He knows exactly what to drop to captivate crowds and fans and this essential mix is a testament to that. In the back end of the mix, he goes back and forth from his own tunes to those of Jeremy Olander, whom Prydz has signed to his label (Pryda Friends) and has only the highest of praises for. Enjoy this incredible essential mix and peep the track list after the break.
