Bastille – Pompeii (Audien Remix) [Release]

One of our favorite rising stars in Audien is back again with another fresh remix. After a busy MMW where he played 8 gigs in 6 days, including Ultra Music Festival and No Sugar Added at Nikki Beach, Mr. Rathburn will continue to be in the spotlight with this release. Nate’s progressive trance sound is not growing old on us in the slightest bit, and again he works his magic on ‘Pompeii’. He makes sure to keep the moving vocals of Bastille fully in tact, a trait about Audien we cannot help but love. While we’ve been bumping this edit since January, the full release is finally available on beatport now!

Vicetone ft. Chloe Angelides – White Lies [Release]

Coming off a breakout 2013, Vicetone has a major release to bring on to the scene in 2014. Protocol Recordings head Nicky Romero, has had nothing but praise for the this duo, and they will continue to attract attention to the label. ‘White Lies’. Just like Tony Romera’s ‘Pandor’ was a big WMC hit last year, we predict similar success for this tune. Another classic progressive beat from Ruben and Victor, the boys couple their sound with the lovely vocals of Chloe Angelides. It will be a busy Miami weekend for the Dutch duo, as they will spin at the Protocol Reboot Miami party Thursday, Nikki Beach’s “No Sugar Added” on Friday, and an Ultra performance on Saturday. Grab the latest Protocol anthem on beatport today!

Artificial – Stuck In Sa Caleta [Release]

After wowing us with their first release in ‘Prototype’, the supergroup of Andrew Bayer and Norin & Rad are back with another tune. ‘Stuck In Sa Caleta’  has been blowing up Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy podcasts as of late. Combining sounds of electro, progressive, and trance, this track is full of bass riffs and lovely melodies. This creation comes as a result of these three artists being stranded in Ibiza for three days. Mr. Bayer had some comical thoughts on the situation: “Missing your flight home from Ibiza is pretty standard, but hijacking a villa and making a tune afterwards isn’t. It was pretty tight the way it worked out.” We are certainly happy with the outcome, and we cannot wait to see what this trio has in store for us next. Grab this masterpiece on BeatPort today.

Eric Prydz – Liberate [Preview]

As the Winter Music Conference approaches, expect lots of new releases from some of our favorite DJ’s. As we anticipate the mau5trap vs PRYDA party as well as a special performance by Eric Prydz presenting “HOLO” at the Ultra Music Festival towards the end of March, Zane Lowe just previewed the masterful “Liberate” as his “Hottest Record in the World.” Forthcoming on Pryda Recordings, this beautiful melodic progressive house tune boasts the lyrics “don’t break now, the world’s locked out, just close your eyes, and we can push them all away…” as Mr. Prydz himself tweeted just today. Reminiscent of his past progressive pop hits such as “Everyday” and even the throwback “Call On Me,” this track is sure to be a staple amongst the Pryda friends and more. The track is due to be released via Beatport on March 21st, just in time for WMC/MMW.

A melodic break used to complement explosive beats, Willem and Wardt continue to expand the tools in their arsenal. Not only do the Dutch boys have a top notch tune in “Ghost Town”, but are giving it away in the form of a free download to celebrate their the Mainstage Music page eclipsing 100K likes. After a massive 2013, its clear that Andrew Bayer is here to stay at the Anjunabeats forefront. Following a momentous year filled with new releases, Andrew gets his 2014 going with his latest gem: ‘Once Lydian’. Mixing the genres of electro, progressive, and trance, Mr. Bayer has certainly outdone himself on this track. Andrew is certainly on a tear in the creativity department, and there is no doubt that he will continue to amaze the dance music community as his career progresses. Musical Freedom showcases the ‘Future Heroes’ in upcoming EP [Preview]

Handpicked by the legend himself, Tiesto has chosen 4 tracks by New York native Jus Jack, HIX, Kaaze, and TV Noise to be part of his “Future Heroes” EP series. Much respect to influential artists such as Tiesto, and Pete Tong with his “Future Stars” segment on his weekly radio show, who continue to supply us with the newest breakthrough tunes and introduce us to emerging talent in the electronic dance music scene. These four electro-house tracks are great “big room” selections, and I am sure we will be hearing more from these rising artists in the coming year. The complete EP will be released via Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label on January 20th.

Moska & MYNC ft. Tamra Keenan – Beautiful People (Summerland Anthem) [Preview]

Moska and MYNC collaborate with singer Tamra Keenan to create “Beautiful People,” which is the official anthem for the second annual Summerland, that was just held in Cartagena, Columbia on January 3rd-5th just two weeks ago. Summerland is the first festival that has been held in Colombia, South America. Tamra’s beautiful voice and lyrics accompany an uplifting progressive house melody, with just enough buildups and breakdowns to quickly become a festival favorite, without being overly aggressive with the “big room sound.” I am a huge supporter of both artists, and think this track is stellar. It will be released via MYNC’s label, Cr2 Records, on January 20th.

AN21, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman – Rebel [Preview]

Rarely without his partner in crime Max Vangeli, AN21 teams up with Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman to deliver ‘Rebel’. With the official release due January 20th, we have been given a preview of the next boom to be heard out of the SIZE Records camp. A dark tone with a rather dramatic buildup, ‘Rebel’ will be sure to invade clubs and dance floors all around the globe. Whether or not vocals will be added to this track remains to be seen, however there is no denying these three gentlemen have already created a heavy-hitting masterpiece. Enjoy this taste for now, as the full meal will be served in less than two weeks!

Jeremy Olander – Blabla [Free Download]

Avicii feat. Audra Mae – Dreaming Of Me [Preview]

1471394_10151882897021799_725705227_nAfter an incredible 2013, Avicii has reclaimed the spotlight in dance music worldwide. Coming off the immense success of his debut album, True, it seems like he will continue to roll into the new year in big fashion. His latest production was just previewed in the Le7els podcast and is titled “Dreaming of Me” featuring the ever so soothing vocals of Audra Mae. This new tune exemplifies how Tim continues to experiment with different styles and energy points despite the “mainstream” criticism he often receives,  and his massive success is a testament to that. Stay tuned for more info on a possible release date and prepare for another big year for Avicii.

Audien – Elysium [Release]

One of our favorite youngsters producing at the moment, Audien is here to start his 2014 off with a bang. Making his imprint on yet another record label, Spinnin’ Records has the distinct pleasure of releasing this fresh tune. Contrary to his standard uplifting melodic beats with moving vocals, Mr. Rathburn goes instrumental on us with multiple unique, creative sounds and beats. Whether or not this is the new direction for the young gun, we cannot wait to see his following releases for this year. Officially available on BeatPort, grab this saucy tune while it’s hot!

Fehrplay – All By My Self [Release]

Pryda Friends are on a roll! Featured back in August on EPIC Radio 009, here is “All By My Self,” an exceptional remix by Fehrplay of the classic tune “In This World” by Moby. Loving the creative progressive, deep, and even disco vibes combined together in this emotional mix. It wouldn’t be christmas without treats from our favorite three Pryda Friends and to show their appreciation for the devoted fans, Fehrplay is one amongst few who is giving away gems for free.  Download it now via SoundCloud and enjoy!

Jeremy Olander – Bandersnatch [Release]

It’s no secret that 2013 has been a tremendous year for Pryda Friends. Pete Tong just crowned Eric Prydz for having the best Essential Mix of 2013, after having released two excellent new tunes under his Pryda alias. Now to close out the year, Jeremy Olander has released his new single “Bandersnatch.” Named after a historic fictional character created by Lewis Carroll in 1872, it’s a perfect blend of an upbeat progressive melody with an underground touch, reflecting the swift monster. This newcomer has yet to disappoint after kicking the year off with one of my favorite tracks, “Let Me Feel.” There’s no doubt that Olander is extremely talented and will continue to be a mainstay in the progressive house scene. This gem of a single now available for purchase via Beatport.

Tritonal & Paris Blohm ft. Sterling Fox – Colors [Preview]

Check this one off your list of ID’s from the Amsterdam Dance Event, first heard during Nicky Romero’s set, Tritonal and Paris Blohm have officially previewed their new track featuring Sterling Fox, “Colors.” Due out on January 13th via Protocol Records, this delightful progressive house track has a powerful melody and emotional vocals but still encompassing that ever-so-popular “big room” style. Starting to see a lot of great releases already due out in 2014, looks like its going to be a huge year for music!

Tiësto – Red Lights [Release]

After premiering just two weeks ago as a world exclusive on none other than Pete Tong’s Essential Selection weekly radio show, Tiesto has released the first single set to be released from his forthcoming album in 2014. After hearing his style become increasingly more “big room house” filled with minimal vocals and aggressive drops, this is a refreshing new single that draws us back to his older style of melodic vocals and synths from a few years past. Not anything quite like his old trance, but still a stellar tune that exemplifies what most mainstream progressive fans have come to know and love.

It seems as though the new year will bring him even more success as he continues touring, releasing more music his own label, Musical Freedom, including volume 3 of his Club Life compilation series and consistently releasing new remixes. After being rewarded the “Top 100 DJs Legend Award” in the 20th year of DJ Mag’s poll, there is no doubt that Tijs is still incredibly dominant and greatly influential in the dance music scene. Be sure to get your own copy of “Redlights” now via iTunes.

Arty, Matisse & Sadko – Riot [Release]

Remember the last time these guys teamed up? Trio was what sent them into the forefront of the EDM community, and now they have collaborated once again to be the talk of the town. Interestingly enough, they have simply rearranged the letters from ‘Trio’ to form ‘Riot’. In similar fashion, these artists have created a formula for a hit tune that has already received praise (and several plays) from Above & Beyond, Afrojack, and BBC Radio 1′s Danny Howard. A rather dark beat starts the song off to only lead into powerful riffs that accompany a wonderful melody. Another progressive gem built by these producers, we cannot wait to see how high this track rises. Released via Spinnin’ Records, this track is available for purchase today via Beatport.

Artificial – Prototype [Release]

From Dog Blood to New World Punx, forming supergroups seems to be all the rave these days. The latest label to benefit from this trend is Anjunabeats, as young superstar Andrew Bayer has teamed up with rising duo Norin & Rad. This first single, appropriately titled “Prototype”, brings out the best in these producers. Combining elements of electronica, progressive house, and trance, Bayer and Norin & Rad’s unique production styles makes this song an absolute knockout. Talk about a way to end the year with a bang, these artists certainly have their eyes widened looking at 2014 (and we’re just as excited as them). Officially available for purchase on BeatPort, make sure to get your copy as soon as possible!

One of the most diverse producers on the planet is here to dazzle us once more. Through his Pryda moniker, we are given two more delicious tunes from the Swede: ‘Lycka’ and ‘F.A.T.’ ‘Lycka’ translates into happiness in Swedish, and there is definitely a feel-good atmosphere established from the very beginning of this gem. In ‘F.A.T.’, Prydz uses his classic buildup mastery to only take the beat to the next level with his signature drums. Released via Pryda Recordings, head over to BeatPort to purchase the latest Eric Prydz products today.

R3hab & Lucky Date – Rip It Up (Nicky Romero Edit) [Release]

Dance music faithfuls have seen Nicky Romero evolved during these past couple years from a dutch banging signature to more of a progressive feel. This time he takes on R3hab & Lucky Date’s “Rip It Up” and delivers a heavy hitting remix. The track kicks off with great vibes, high energy, and leads to a massive drum filled drop. After finishing 7th on DJ Mags Top 100 Poll this year, its clear his fame has risen worldwide and should only continue to thrive as Nicky’s edit to “Rip It Up” is now available via BeatPort on his native record label Protocol Recordings.

Audien feat. Ruby Prophet – Circles [Release]

As one of our favorite producers under the age of 22, Audien adds to his rather stunning repertoire with another hit single. As expected, Mr. Rathburn uses vocals to complement his melodic, uplifting beats. Nate has certainly made an excellent choice with Ruby Prophet, as she works wonders with her lovely voice to accompany the sounds of the young superstar. Sticking to his signature progressive style, Audien has dazzled us once again. Released via Zouk Recordings, grab this fresh tune on BeatPort.

Pryda – F.A.T. [Preview]

As promised, dance music extraordinaire Eric Prydz has already previewed his next track “F.A.T.” under his Pryda alias. After first premiering Lycka as an exclusive for Pete Tong’s “Essential Selection” radio show just two weeks ago, he is at it again with another magically progressive tune previewed in the latest edition of EPIC radio. He is clearly hard at work in the studio, and it shows, as all of his latest Pryda teasers and releases including “Layers” have been captivatingly good. We’re looking forward to what else Mr. Prydz has got up his sleeve.
