Previously scheduled to appear at the high-profile Cipriani Sunday Series all the way back in February, Luciano’s performance was postponed to April 14th due to a blizzard in New York. Daft Punk Confirmation of 13 New Tracks Registered With Sony [News]
Despite all the new material coming out of WMC in Miami, Florida this week, the absent Daft Punk duo still manages to make headlines. It has been confirmed once and for all today, that 13 tracks have been officially registered by the notorious EDM group known as Daft Punk with Sony Music.
After an extremely prolonged period of teasers and rumors, hard evidence has at last surfaced to ensure the release of a new album from the French duo. Earlier today the Twitter handel @EDM released a snapshot of an online registration form that included 13 new Daft Punk tracks. Although the names of the songs still remain unknown, their lengths have been made public.
The news comes as a relief to many, following an upsetting display of counterfeit posters at SXSW in Austin, Texas last week with the date March 15th on them. In the past few months rumors spurred by forged documents and teasers have flooded the media. However it appears that fans have finally learned to await confirmation, from legitimate sources before believing what they hear.

Boys Noize – Ultra Music Festival 15.03.13 (Live Set) [Review]
As weekend one of UMF fifteen comes to an end, artists and fans prepare for the party filled week ahead. While music entusiasts and spectators pick and chose events to attend in the coming days, their impressions of weekend one will surely influence their decision making. With his unforgettable performance on day one of Ultra 15, German producer, Alex Ridha A.K.A Boys Noize, made quite the impact on spectators. For an hour and forty five minutes Boys Noize had everyone in attendance going wild. His performance encompassed a flurry of exotic light shows, his unique skull stage that he rose from and last but not least a vicious Daft-Punk-esque set. The heart stopping bass and euphoric synths of Alex’s loud and melodic tunes had the stage shaking. Ridha’s set was composed mainly of Boys Noize originals and remixes and mixed with extreme precision and style. Surely my favorite performance of the weekend, definitely planning on attending more of his performances this WMC.

Laurent Garnier – Jacques In The Box (Brodinski & Gesaffelstein’s 420 Remix) [Preview]
Laurent Garnier, a praised veteran in the world of EDM released his original track “Jacques In The Box” sometime last April, and the boys over at Bromance records decided to give it a little tune up. Although Garnier will be releasing his “Chicago Bardelo” remix on this upcoming EP aswel, Brodinski & Gesaffelstein’s collaborative remix is the track to be on the look out for. The two share a very unique relationship, while working off the same record label (Bromance), Gesaffelstien and Brodinski are able to produce their own solo tracks, and constantly play back to back performances. Not something you see very often in EDM but it seems to be working quite well for them! Definitely two of the funkiest producers in the game today, really appreciate the style of music they have been putting out recently. Give their newest remix a listen, dropping off of Ed Banger records April 1st, stay tuned!
