Hailing from Sydney, Australia this young buck producer has been able to maintain his extraordinarily unique musical career along with a collaborative project with artist EmohInstead, entitled “What So Not”. Following his debut album Harley has been working on slightly different productions but none the less they have all been incredible.

Skrillex Collaborates With NYC Clothing Brand Mishka [News]

Skrillex-Mishka

This past Friday Owlsa announced a collaboration between Skrillex and NYC clothing company, Mishka, via Skrillex’s website. Their collaboration consists of  a handful of pieces consisting of Sonny’s logo and can be found here. Mishka recently confirmed that the song being played on the site is in fact a production by Skrill entitled “DOOMPY POOMP”. The nearly 5 minute long song consists of a compilation of odd noises and sounds but changes tempo at around 2 minutes. One of the weirder productions we’ve ever heard from Skrillex, and thats saying something.

Loco Dice and Defected team up for a two disc ‘In The House’ Compilation [News]

plexipr_DefectedpresentsLocoDiceInTheHouseCDweb_1

Loco Dice has confirmed his collaboration with Defected Records to release a two-disc “In The House” compliation mix series. Tracks included will be from the likes of producers such as Kyle Hall, Diplo, and of course Loco Dice himself. Dice explains how the surprising idea to team up with Defected came about by giving details of an exchange he had with Simon Dunmore, the face of the highly acclaimed record label.

initially it wasn’t about business, just music. Eventually he asked me if I could do something for Defected, with as much freedom as I needed. For me it’s a great opportunity, and I always take compilations so seriously, as seriously as I would an album. I’m so happy with the results

This news is certainly a wonderful way to kick-off his longstanding, summer residency in Ibiza which has just started this week. The mix series, officially titled, “Loco Dice In The House”, will be available worldwide via Defected on July 21st. Peep the teaser and track list after the break below.

Duck_Sauce_@_Wellington_Square_(25_9_2011)_(6202052411)

After about a one year hiatus, Duck Sauce is back with some big buzz surrounding their name. They have very recently previewed their new tune “Quack Is Back” (in the form of a loop), and schedule to release the track on June 25th. The American duo consisting of A-Track and Armand van Helden already have plans to perform in the U.S. this summer as they announced at the end of April they will be playing at Hard Summer festival in Los Angeles during the first weekend in August. The last time Duck Sauce was on a famed festival stage was last year’s Governor’s Ball, shortly after their Main Stage appearance in Miami at Ultra Music Festival. It’s truly a pleasure to see the boys have been back in the studio together, as they have left us wanting more since their last release in “Big Bad Wolf.” This is only a sign of good things to come, so let’s hope to hear even more Duck Sauce as the festival season is now in full swing. To listen to a loop of “Quack Is Back”, check it out on their website here.

945377_10151651088711421_1536767154_n-600x600

Nick Van De Wall has been making all kinds of headlines lately, from totaling Ferraris to producing albums for people like Paris Hilton it seems like Afrojack just can’t keep himself out of the headlines these days. Despite the creation of his recent alternative house moniker “Far Far Away” the man has clearly lost his artists edge, and succumb to the mainstream limelight. Afro recently uploaded these three tracks to his soundcloud as an EP entitled ’It’s A Matter Of…’. The EP is comprised of 3 tracks we’ve heard him play countless times throughout the past couple of years. If he keeps this up it seems like it’s only a matter of time…. till Afro is old news. Stay tuned for news on release dates.

Even at 18 years old, this prodigy is releasing gems off trance lords Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond’s record labels. This time it is from Armada Music’s Trice Recordings that this new single emerges. “Ciao” is just a testament of Audien’s diverse style as we see him go HAM on this new production. The youngster recently went from throwing down a fantastic EDC Chicago set to opening for Hardwell on Governor’s Island in just a matter of a weekend. Audien’s popularity will only continue to rise, as his success has only just begun. Now available for purchase via Beatport.

Sebastian Ingrosso & Axwell – ROAR [Release]

AzsRfSwVsnw

It seems like Axwell and Ingrosso have more in common than the other third of the former Swedish House Mafia in Steve Angello as they team up to deliver “Roar” a new collabo which was first premiered in the ‘Monsters University’ trailer and soundtrack. “Roar” is now available for purchase via iTunes including remixes from Style of Eye and Yogi. This is only the start of big things to come for these two as they have already booked their Ushuaia residency dubbed “Departures.” My favorite remix goes to Yogi who delivers a heavy banger to compliment two thirds of the former SHM’s new track. The original just feels like something is missing without Steve. Let us know what you think of this new collabo and enjoy.

Afrojack unveils new alias ‘Far Far Away’ with premiere of Robot City [Preview]

603814_10151628152456421_2016879043_nMost people know Afrojack today as that mainstream DJ that always knows what to produce and drop in order to appease the ‘EDM’ crowd of the modern-day. Today he works on changing that perception as he unveils a new possible alias in ‘Far Far Away’ which highlights his true abilities and talents as a producer:

Outside of the whole party thing and waaaa drops edm n what not, I also like just making music for the heck of it, not to impress anybody, not to be fancy, not to anything.Even though its not what most of you are used to, its still my biggest passion to share these kind of things with you, so welcome to the kingdom of Far Far Away, everything under this extra title is gonna be my weird stuff. Starting off I just made this thingy, just something nice to go to sleep to.

If “Robot City” is any example of things to come from Nick, you can expect another massive year for the king of dirty dutch as he dips into new “kingdoms” and genres that  show what the man is truly capable of. Lets see what Deadmau5 has to say about the alleged “button pusher” now….

RL Grime – Shells / Pockets (Previews)

604047_489204204450529_1885918112_n

Not to sound redundant, but RL is absolutely murdering the game with his recent work. These are two unreleased tracks played during a few of his most recent sets, including his performance at Tryst LV earlier this week, are absolute bangers! The first track is entitled “Shells” and is an absolute smash by Grime, with a bit more of a house feel to it, slightly different from his typical tracks but none the less extremely fresh. The second is a trap single, entitled “Pockets” and resembles RL’s signature style slightly more. No information on their release dates has surfaced as of yet so make sure to check back for updates.

RL Grime – Tryst Nightclub Set (05.25.13) [Mix]

59689_488383267865956_1202409140_n

Henry Steinway aka RL Grime put on quite the performance earlier this week at Las Vegas nightclub “Tryst”. The talented trap producer who doubles as an electro aficionado under his “Clockwork” moniker has been in extremely high demand these past few months. His music has been coming to us in small doses as of recently but this two hour long mix filled with nothing but grimy trap bangers should remedy that!
