Duck Sauce – NRG (Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Milo & Otis Remix)

With the release of Duck Sauce’s long awaited album “Quack” just around the corner, Skrill, Kill The Noise, Milo & Otis teamed up to remix NRG, an upcoming single from their forthcoming album. Despite the melodic disco intro to the track, the remix quickly unfolds to reveal a bumping house beat that accentuates all contributing artist’s sounds into one big banger. Quack is expected to be released sometime in April and we couldn’t be more thrilled for some more Duck Sauce. Stay tuned!

Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway – Wizard (Tchami Remix) [Release]

The mysterious deep house aficionado known as Tchami has transformed Matin Garrix and Jay Hardway’s progressive hit “Wizard” into a soulful masterpiece. As the demand for deep house grows, artists like Tchami are pushing the envelope with interesting musical projects, alterations and experiments. Unlike the majority of deep house producers, Tchami has decided to take his talents to a more mainstream audience by releasing his tracks with labels such as Fools Gold and Spinnin’ Records, giving him more exposure to a wider range of fans. This remix is now available for purchase via Beatport and is well worth every penny!

Jack Beats – Beatbox [Release]

Always been a big fan and supporter of Jack Beats’ work. In a generation filled with saturated sounds and beats amongst producers, Jack Beats always seems to keep it fresh. His latest production recently unleashed on OWSLA, just premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 and is taking fans by storm with his signature synths along with a deep twist. Beat Box is out on his forthcoming EP and available for purchase via iTunes

Gaia – Empire of Hearts [Release]

Armin van Buuren’s “Gaia” performance scheduled for this year’s UMF Miami, will be accompanied by the release of ‘Empire of Hearts’. Armin van Buuren has never failed to disappoint in any of his endeavors, and him performing under this moniker certainly has us expecting big things. ‘Empire of the Hearts’ is exactly in line with the “pure trance” role that is Gaia. The tune is headed by an intense beat, but has the classic euphoria mixed in as well. Listening to this you picture yourself enveloped in the legendary “A State of Trance” tent at Ultra, and those fortunate enough to go this year can start to envision the same. We hope to see Armin perform as Gaia at future festivals, and we’re excited to see how this performance will go. Released via Armind (Armada), go grab this trance anthem on BeatPort asap and enjoy.

Artificial – Stuck In Sa Caleta [Release]

After wowing us with their first release in ‘Prototype’, the supergroup of Andrew Bayer and Norin & Rad are back with another tune. ‘Stuck In Sa Caleta’  has been blowing up Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy podcasts as of late. Combining sounds of electro, progressive, and trance, this track is full of bass riffs and lovely melodies. This creation comes as a result of these three artists being stranded in Ibiza for three days. Mr. Bayer had some comical thoughts on the situation: “Missing your flight home from Ibiza is pretty standard, but hijacking a villa and making a tune afterwards isn’t. It was pretty tight the way it worked out.” We are certainly happy with the outcome, and we cannot wait to see what this trio has in store for us next. Grab this masterpiece on BeatPort today.

Eric Prydz – Liberate [Preview]

As the Winter Music Conference approaches, expect lots of new releases from some of our favorite DJ’s. As we anticipate the mau5trap vs PRYDA party as well as a special performance by Eric Prydz presenting “HOLO” at the Ultra Music Festival towards the end of March, Zane Lowe just previewed the masterful “Liberate” as his “Hottest Record in the World.” Forthcoming on Pryda Recordings, this beautiful melodic progressive house tune boasts the lyrics “don’t break now, the world’s locked out, just close your eyes, and we can push them all away…” as Mr. Prydz himself tweeted just today. Reminiscent of his past progressive pop hits such as “Everyday” and even the throwback “Call On Me,” this track is sure to be a staple amongst the Pryda friends and more. The track is due to be released via Beatport on March 21st, just in time for WMC/MMW.

Daft Punk ft. Jay Z – Computerized [Unreleased]

This mysterious collaboration between Jay Z and Daft Punk, titled “Computerized” surfaced late last night and has caused a complete stir in the music world. Word has it that the legendary producers partnered up with HOV to produce a single for the Tron soundtrack, which was ultimately never used. No word on how the track became available to the public or if its even a real collabo for that matter but stay tuned for updated and enjoy the download in the meantime.

ZHU unleashes yet another impressive track in ‘Faded’

After kicking off his career with an anonymous start to the likes of ‘Moves Like Ms Jackson’ and ‘Superfriends’, L.A. based producer ZHU is showing the masses that he is here to stay. The man has taken the dance community by storm as each of his productions have a quality of  deep profoundness that turn any listener into an instant fan. Stay tuned for more from ZHU because sky is the limit if he can continue to build on wild momentum that is usually unheard of during the start of a producers career.

The most sought-after party of WMC is here: mau5trap vs PRYDA [Event]

mau5trap vs PRYDA
Our mau5 ears shot straight up when we first caught wind of this elusive event just over a week ago via twitter. The mau5trap account tweeted a flyer that simply read “mau5trap vs PRYDA 03.27.14″ and left us all in a whirlwind as we were already scurrying to make a decision on what event to attend that night. Amongst all of the amazing lineups planned for that day, this one solidified the deal. The party will be held at a pop up arena at Ice Palace Studios in Downtown Miami from 10PM to 5AM, with no further details revealed, just a hint that there will be “special gue5ts.” We can only speculate that the record label head honchos deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will be in attendance. Will the current artists such as Hot Mouth, Tommy Trash, or Nom De Strip be going against Pryda friends Fehrplay and Jeremy Olander? Will they be spinning b2b? Perhaps testpilot will go back to back with Cirez D? We can’t wait to find out. Tickets for the 21+ event will go on sale Monday March 10th via Wantickets, in the meantime, peep some brand new Deadmau5 as he experiments with his techno moniker in Testpilot.

Pharrell Williams – Happy (NEUS Remix)

The french producing maestro has brought an infusion of funk into Pharrell Williams’ hit “Happy.” This could be the best remix to date and will truly have you feeling even happier after a listen. NEUS continues to experiment with different genres and seems to be having success with it, as he climbs the dance music pyramid with this awesome rework. His work is like a cross between Boyz Noise and A-Trak but you truly never know what he’s going to experiment with next.  No word yet on a download but be sure to tune in and enjoy.

Electric Daisy Carnival New York 2014 Lineup Revealed [News]

Less than an hour after Mysteryland uncovered the blanket, the lineup for EDC New York was revealed to the public. With even bigger names this year, EDC is making all efforts to trump Electric Zoo as the top festival in the tri-state area. While the zoo has some time to recruit, let’s break down what Insomniac Events has in store for Memorial Day weekend.

There are many familiar names in this year’s group. Superstars Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, and Steve Angello continue to remain faithful since the first edition back in 2012. And while those are some heavy hitters, Insomniac went above and beyond this year stealing Tiesto, Hardwell, Boys Noize, Krewella, Tommy Trash, and Sander van Doorn from Electric Zoo. We’re not sure as to how they managed to pull this one off, but the Randall’s Island faithful are surely in shock right now. With the move back to MetLife Stadium, and all this new added talent, EDC NY is rivaling Mysteryland USA for this coming Memorial Day Weekend. And as the ticket sales start flying, it’s decision time for all of you festival-goers. What’s it going to be? EDC NY or Mysterland USA?
