UMF 15: Exploring Beyond The Main Stage [Review]
While Ultra Music Festival stacks its main stage with the elite producers in the dance music industry, every year features new sets performed at their other respective stages that truly highlight the essence of an individual’s UMF experience. Last year, I had finally popped my UMF cherry and this year I made a promise to look beyond the main stage and explore the rest of the new stages that had been prepared. The execs at Ultra made that easy with the schedules they generated. I was able to attend both weekends, and write about which sets away from the main stage had the greatest effect on my Ultra Music Festival 2013 experience.
Armin van Buuren & W&W – D# Fat [Release]
If you have been keeping up with BleedHouse, the duo out of the Netherlands known as W&W are no strangers. Fresh off the release of “Code,” the duo has now collaborated with the worlds number one DJ Armin van Buuren to release “D# Fat” a massive new hit via Armin’s State of Trance Compilation Album. This track beautifully combines both of these artists signature styles into one amazing tune. The M Machine is a group that was recently signed by Skrillex’s production company OWSLA. Big names like Zedd and Porter Robinson are also part of that crew. They produce soft dub-step that are fun and up beat. Its not like typical dub and Im really enjoying it. Check these two tracks out and be sure to check out their tour dates, you can find them HERE.
