Artist Spotlight: Autoerotique
When I hear the name Autoerotique, I think of artists who alway deliver, a duo who always brings forth tracks that are creative and that are usually straight up bangers. Supported by Tiesto with their remix of “House Music”, and releasing tracks that have been remixed by many such as “Turn Up The Volume”, Autoerotique is definitely a positive reflection of Dim Maks true talent. This time, they bring us three tracks that are absolute fire. The first, EKG, starts out with a dark buildup, followed by a MASSIVE drop sure to shake dancefloors. The second, Roll The Drums, is graced with beautiful vocals and drops with strong drums and electro twists. Lastly, their track “WTF” is a massive big room track that is definitely a favorite. The hidden gems from Ultra Music Festival 2012
During truly great performances, we always hear the DJ’s dropping anthems, and then some ID’s that we WISH we knew. Here are some tracks that made my jaw drop during UMF 2012, that you may not be aware of. The first is Autoerotique’s remix of “House Music.” Tiesto played this remix as his final track and the crowd just couldn’t get enough! The next is Congorock’s “Monolith.” When Benny Benassi dropped this during his set, we all literally had a eargasm. This ancient style buildup combined with the powerful banging drop has all the ingredients to an ideal song one would want to hear at Ultra. The next two are more on the dubby side as heard in Knife Party’s set. Cyclus brings the heat and Face Melt goes more electro. Let me know what you think of these gems!

After putting out their remix to “Work Hard Play Right,” the Canadian duo Autoerotique now has their own banger remixed by none other than Tiesto himself. Out of all of the releases on this crazy monday, “Bring that Beat Back” via Musical Freedom, is arguably my favorite. This MUST DOWNLOAD is just another testament to Tiesto’s talents. A few weeks back we gave you the previews to Steve Aoki and Wynter Gordon’s “Ladi Dadi,” and now these bangers have been released. My personal favorite comes from the upcoming legend Angger Dimas and I don’t really feel the need to express my obsession with the kid, just know that this remix is one wild trippy ride.
