Baauer & RL Grime – Infinite Daps [Release]

Throughout the past year Baauer and RL Grime have asserted themselves as two of the most dominant presences in trap music and the underground house community in general. Following their “Infinite Daps” tour this past summer, the two managed to perform together  collaboratively on separate occasions, such as Hard’s Day of the Dead. RL and Baauer possess a phenomenal musical chemistry, which has allowed them to preform together and produce tracks like their latest single “Infinite Daps,” named after their collaborative tour. RL recently uploaded their production to his soundcloud account, announcing that the track would be available for free download for 48 hours. Following the free download period, the track will be available for purchase through Thump (, and proceeds will be donated to fighting AIDS in Africa. Both RL and Baauer are at the top of their game’s as solo artists, so a formal collaborative duo seems somewhat unlikely, despite the speculation. Make sure to check out the “Infinite Daps” documentary and pick up RL and Baauer’s latest production, either through free download or by donating to help fight AIDS in Africa.

HOLY SHIP! 2014 Lineup Unveiled [News]

holly ship

One of the most talked about electronic dance music events of the past two years, Holy Ship is back! The ship is taking on some new passengers this year with additions such as Disclosure and Baauer. Owsla front man Skrillex who was absent on last year’s voyage is now  headlining the cruise ship! But unfortunately Gesaffelstein was left out of this years lineup along with some others. However this 2014 lineup looks like it may be Holy Ship’s best year yet. The voyage begins on January 9-12th this coming January, but tickets have already been sold out. However if you are still interested in possibly acquiring a spot on the ship add you name to the wait list here.

Aluna George – Attracting Flies (Baauer Remix) [Release]

An artist that really stood out during WMC was the Harlem Shake creator, Baauer. With surprisingly fresh musical material, Baauer had his crowds at nearly every performance (club, festival, and private parties) going absolutely bananas to his sets. This song in particular stood out to me and was recently release by the young producer. His remix to Aluna George’s “Attracting Flies” is the perfect mix of tasteful catchy lyrics with a funky beat, the ideal track. Far from his infamous “Harlem Shake” this track exemplifies Baauer’s ability to differentiate himself from stereotypical house music.

Nero – Won’t You (Be There) (Baauer Remix) [PREVIEW]

I’m a sucker for those rare occasions when producers get a little freaky and decide to switch up the genre of a track whether it be from rap to trap, rock to house, or even some funky twists on a mainstream radio song. Who better to put a little trap twist on dubstep duo Nero’s track “Won’t You,” than the infamous Baauer. Loving the way this track is coming together as you can see how well Baauer is dealing with his rise to fame. The young gun will only get bigger and better if he can keep on putting out tracks like this. Stay tuned for the release coming soon!
