This Boiler Room set is a recording from techno-extraordinaire, Mike Levy, A.K.A Gesaffelstein’s performance at the “House Of Van’s” during Berlin’s fashion week, earlier this month. Everything about this mix is signature Gesaffelstein, with it’s ominous noises, constantly shrieking synths, and methodical precision theres nothing for his fans not to admire. The Bromantic Parisian incorporated some of his original singles such as “Viol”, “Control Movement” and “Depravity” to really give it that Gesaffelstein feel.

Possibly one of the most talented producers in all of EDM, Gesaffelstein has been teasing his facebook fans for weeks while hyping up his newest track. The latest edition to the frenchman’s collection of underground gems aired a couple weeks back on Laura Leishman Project on le Mouv’, and oh what a track it is! This remix to Justice’s “Helix” is absolutely epic, and signature Gesaffelstein in every way, shape and form. The ominous background, screaming synth & calculated beat come together perfectly, the only way it’s perfectionist producer would have it. Already one of my favorite tracks!

Artist Spotlight: Gesaffelstein
Gesaffelstein, one of the biggest names in underground EDM, and co-founder of the label Bromance Records is a name you true house fans should become familiar with. The dark and ominous allure he presents on his tracks is unlike that of any music I have ever heard. It’s hard to put a label on this French producer’s music, some may call it a version of Techno, but when the massive bass in his songs kicks in it almost becomes irrelevant as to what classification it falls under. Gesaffelstein is known to put on incredible live sets performing with multiple synthesizers and other production equipment, rather than the common mixer and decks. His music has been a sensation overseas for quite sometime and has begun to influence many passionate EDM fans in the U.S. He has recently announced his upcoming remix to Justice’s track “Helix” so stay on the look out.

Gesaffelstein: one of the biggest names in techno out there. This guy never shies away from his true element; pure, choppy, bass filled, dark tracks all the way. Born in France and creating flawless track after track alongside his partner in crime Brodinski, Ges has recently released only more of his hard to miss music, and we are nothing less than excited about it. Today we have a beautifully done remix by the man himself, along with two original tracks- one on the darker side (“Belgium”), the other leaving us with a lighter feel (“Depravity”). For those of you who have an ear for techno but aren’t familiar with Ges, get familiar. It’s that simple. Oh, and girls, check out his photos- he’s incredibly good looking, to put it mildly. Gesaffelstein takes the track and makes a straight filllthhhyyyy fucking remix to Duck Sauces production.
