A-Trak – Tuna Melt EP (The Remixes) [Release]

atrak

If A-Trak’s infamous “Tuna Melt” EP wasn’t enough for you, here are a handful of remixes/alterations that have a bit more bang than the originals. GTA, Grandtheft, Jack Beats and Les Rythmes Digitales’s edits are only some of the featured tracks on this remix ep, but we thought they were slightly superior to the rest and deserved some recognition. In addition to some banging remixes A-Trak also incorporated a second version of his trap original “Landline”. This diverse remix EP is composed wide range of genres including deep, trap, and disco edits to A-Trak’s originals.

7212432

It’s been a big day for Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, as along with the announcement of the duo headlining this year’s Electric Zoo, comes the release of their latest collaboration. DV&LM, GTA and Wolfpack are each known for their ability to produce those big room bangers that tend to make their mark on festivals. Just recently GTA’s “Hit It” along with Dimitri & Like Mike’s “Mammoth” and “Wakanda” all dominated DJ setlists at Ultra Music Fest. 2013. Now they have all teamed up to deliver yet another massive tune: “Turn it Up” has got it all, from the energetic buildup to the dark vintage GTA like drop. The track is now up on BeatPort, and was released via Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label.

Three up and coming artists from the size crew, GTA, Henrix & Digital Lab have collaborated to bring the music industry their newest banger, “Hit It“. This track is a heavy hitting single that incorporates different speeds and tempos that come together beautifully with this monster of a baseline. The track has already been deemed the next “anthem,” a track we will be hearing for some time. Theres a bright future for GTA as they have divulged into all genres of dance music and have still maintained the ability to keep the tracks fresh and original.

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to catch Dillon Francis perform at his “favorite venue” in NYC at Webster Hall. Dillon and his fans had a blast the last time he checked in, so it wasn’t hard to anticipate another wild night at Webster for the king of Moombah. A majority of the knowledgable fans in attendance made sure to arrive early as miami based production duo known as GTA was set to open. You can expect to hear way more tunes from Dillon as he will be spending the next 2 months in the studio working on his new album.

Artist Spotlight: GTA

DUO4

GTA” is a Miami based production duo consisting of Matthew Van Toth (Van Toth) and Julio Mejia (JWLS). While Van Toth brings the techno aspect to the duo’s productions, JWLS has the hip hop/trap influence on their tracks. These two put together have really been putting out some heavy hitting bangers and are looking to have a massive year in 2013. Here are a few of my favorite tunes from GTA and I simply cannot wait to see them live this Saturday night at Webster Hall as they are set to spin along side Dillon Francis. Let me know what you think and be sure to stay tuned for more from GTA.
