Hardwell presents Revealed @ Mansion Nightclub Miami (03.21.13) [Review]

Hardwell has come a long way since being one of Tiesto’s prodigy’s a few years back. He has gone above and beyond people’s expectations and his career in this industry is thriving. After being named the #6 DJ in the world according to DJ Mag, there has been no slowing down Hardwell and his Revealed crew. Robert has successfully recruited and has been a mentor to all of the new talented producers on his label including the likes of Dannic, Dyro, Jordy Dazz, Firebeatz, and more who were all in attendance to celebrate MMW with an exclusive Revealed party of their own at Mansion Nightclub on March 21st.
Hardwell Ft. Amba Shepherd – Apollo (Original Mix) [RELEASE]
After claiming his well deserved spot at number 6 in DJ mag’s Top 100 DJ’s 2012, Hardwell is back with another epic tune! Apollo, an appropriate title for the followup to Hardwell’s massively successful track “Spaceman” is now released off of Harwell’s label, Revealed. Coming off an impressive debut on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, this track is more of a feel good progressive hit, not what we are typically used to from the young electro artist, but the effects, synths and drops he uses really make this song stand out. Not your typical progressive banger, Harwell is stepping outside the box with this one, let me know what you think.

My younger brother, a newly fanatical fan of trap came across this remix of Hardwell’s chart topper “Spaceman” and it is absolutely banging! Let me know what you think!

Hardwell @ Electric Zoo NY 2012 [REVIEW]
After an amazing 2012 year for the dutch DJ with big beats like “Spaceman,” “Kontiki,” and “How We Do,” I had high hopes coming into E-Zoo that Hardwell would have a monster performance. Especially after the amazing feedback he received for his set at Ultra. Coming off the heels of a Nicky Romero’s set, the crowd was hot and anxious for another banging show.
Hardwell & Showtek – How We Do (Original Mix) [RELEASE]
This week has been somewhat disappointing in terms of new music surfacing, but luckily the release of Hardwell’s long awaited track with Showtek entitled “How We Do” is here to end the drought. Showtek seems to have a knack for producing these very uptempo, fast paced festival-like tracks, such as their previous banger with Tiesto “Hell Yeah”. The two possess somewhat of a similar beat in the buildup, and then drop after a quick lyric. However at the same time this track sounds a lot quicker, and has some original sounds, and synths that make it stand out from others, when it comes to house music production it really is all about the detail and originality these days…. This year has proven to be an extremely successful one for Hardwell, as he has been headlining festival after festival and murdering every one of them while simultaneously releasing banger after banger. In my opinion he has proven to be one of the top DJ’s this year regardless of what DJ might rank him at.

Hardwell Ft. Dannic – Kontiki (Inc Dyro Remix) [RELEASE]
The Dutch super producer has done it again! Hardwell has just released his new production featuring Dannic, previously known as DJ Funkadelic. This track is definitely something different than we are used to from Hardwell but something about it is fucking amazing and has me bobbing my head. It sounds like a combination of hard electro and a bit of trance something we might expect from an artist like Sander Van Doorn, as it sounds almost similar to his “Koko”. This track, premiered at sensation white has blown up since. Included is one BANGING electro remix from the up and comer Dyro. Look out for this kid on Hardwell’s label because he has really been putting out some heat.

We also have a brand new remix from Hardwell to Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been.” The dutch born producer turns Rihanna’s track into an full out electro banger. The Naked & Famous – Young Blood (Tiesto & Hardwell Remix) [PREVIEW]
This track was debuted at Ultra last week by the living legend known as Tiesto, and was produced by himself and Hardwell. I’m so happy these two collaborated on a track together I had a feeling they’re styles would mesh well. If you are not already aware, Hardwell may in fact be one of the top ten producers in the game right now, and after seeing him perform multiple times over the course of WMC I’m convinced that he’s one of the top ten performers as well. Who better to remix your track then these two house music titans? Really loving the lyrics on this puts a different spin on progressive, and I’m positive that it is going to be a massive track. Give it a listen, this track will drop April 24th off of Tiesto’s Club life so check back!

LOVE COMES AGAIN (HARDWELL RE-WORK)
The more I hear Hardwell’s work, the more he reminds me of Tiesto, and now every time the two come together you can always expect a banger. Tiesto’s “progressive banger” style has been such a big influence on Hardwell’s work and you can see it on “Zero 76″ and now his re-work to Tiestos “Love Comes Again.” Also enjoy this bonus remix of Traffic from Tristian Garner.

Munster (Original Mix)
As you all may know, Hardwell is the “new kid on the block and he is here to stay.” Since his bootleg “Show Me Love vs. Be,” which was released in 2010, Hardwell has shown nothing less than exceptional production skills and DJing abilities. His tracks kill it. His remixing abilities are incredible and his collaborations with artists such as Chuckie and Tiesto demonstrate his ability to incorporate different types of music into his own. Munster takes a while to get crazy but once it hits 2:00 the song is banging. Check it out. I’ve also included one of my favorite bootlegs that includes one of Hardwell’s tracks mixed with Avicii’s Fade Into Darkness. Once DJs start hearing about this mix and mixing it into their sets, crowds will start raging like never before.

And as a bonus track I have provided you with my take on David Guetta’s Without You track. It’s called Falling Apart and in collaboration with Five Cow Productions, we have put our own spin on this popular song. This is our first time experimenting with this genre of music, but we are confident that we were very effective in the song’s production. It’s dirty dirty. Check it out!

Two new remixes to Taio Cruz’s “Hangover,” put out by Hardwell and Laidback Luke. I am really starting to love Hardwell’s so called progressive banger style. You can really feel it in this remix and in everything he has been putting out. His remix gets the nod over Lukes here. Let me know what you think.
