Mysteryland USA at the site of original Woodstock announces lineup [News]

Since confirmation to take over the old Woodstock location at Bethel Woods, fans all across the globe have been waiting for a lineup announcement for the 1st edition of Mysterland USA. The wait is finally over, and this is one hell of a diverse lineup. Mysterland has more than covered its bases with this all star cast that spans across all genres of dance music. While Mainstage headliners Steve Aoki and Kaskade will catch your eye at the top of the bill, scroll down each day and see a vast mix of names featuring Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Moby, and Dillon Francis. The Boat stage is full of names as well with Big Gigantic, Dillstradamus, and Chase & Status

But don’t forget about the Sunday School mini-fest courtesy of MadeEvent. With three stages, deep and tech house heads will surely find nirvana. Heading the list are Dubfire, Joris Voorn, Chris Liebing, Seth Troxler, and Victor Calderone. Other names to note are Booka Shade (DJ Set), Scuba, and a Jeremy Olander & Fehrplay b2b performance. To kickoff the festival on Friday night, a Holy Ground Opening Party will be hosted by Nicky Romero as a part of his Protocol Reboot campaign. A juicy lineup here as well with the likes of John Dahlback, Tritonal and Don Diablo. We waited quite a while for this lineup, but it was certainly worth the anticipation. Be sure to purchase your tickets soon, as they are expected to sell out fast! Catch the full lineup after the break.

Groove Cruise X 2014 (Miami –> Cozumel) [Review]

Coming in not knowing exactly what to expect, I packed my bags and flew out to the ever sunny Miami Beach, Florida for the 10th Annual, but my very first, Groove Cruise. Upon checking in and then sipping on some coffee, I made some new media friends before the press luncheon and cruise tour. Exhausted from my travels, I took off and woke up just in time to hear the announcement that the ship was about to sail off…

John Dahlbäck – Sirens [Release]

Between traveling the world playing shows, hosting a weekly radio show named Mutants Radio, and starting his own record label, Swedish producer John Dahlbäck has been hard at work. He is currently working on his forthcoming studio album for Ultra Records, and has released a new single, “Sirens.” The track is definitely going for the “big room” electro house sound that every DJ has been trending towards lately. I’m honestly not impressed with this track at all, especially in comparison to his last 2-track release two months on Dim Mak Records “Uh Oh/Walls Come Down,” which still harbors some of his own original style. We need more originality John! Out now on Beatport via Ultra Records.

John Dahlback – Nuke [Preview]

artworks-000046219160-06o1im-t500x500John Dahlback has been working hard in the studio and is back at it with newer and even more creative material. Dahlback continues to master the game with the latest preview to the track: “Nuke.” It’s only fitting that one electro buff teams up with another, as this track will be released via Protocol Records, the label home to Nicky Romero. On May 2nd, Dahlback will begin his brief 11-day North American tour, filled with eight shows in cities such as Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas. Additionally, he will be return to the US in June for Chicago’s Spring Awakening Music Festival. Check back with us for the highly anticipated release of “Nuke” on June 5th!

Lazy Rich – Insomnia (Incl. John Dahlback Remix) [Release]

InsomniaFollowing last years release “Damage Control”, Lazy Rich has returned to Rising Music to deliver this brand brand new tune. Riveting vocals from Gita Lake combined with masterful producing from Richard, “Insomnia” is bound to rise on the BeatPort charts and fast. Also included is a remix from the other familiar face of Rising Music, a BleedHouse fan favorite in John Dahlback. As always, he brings the heat on this massive remix with some dubby dutch like sounds at the drop. Let us know which remix your prefer and stay tuned for big years for both Lazy Rich and John Dahlback as they continue to impress.

John Dahlback – The Trip [EP] [RELEASE]

Dahlback possibly one of the best producers in the progressive electro scene is back with another set of bangers and they are far from the usual! His new EP “The Trip” is a quite hefty set of tracks such as “The Trip”, “China Lake” and my personal favorite “Jackal Mackson”. These extremely detailed electro funk singles are  far from his recent songs “Panic” and “Every Breath”. I must admit tracks like these require somewhat of an acquired taste, but personally I think this EP is absolutely fucking dope, ideal for a Dim Mak collaboration. Hope to hear more singles like these, great work!

John Dahlback & Greg Cerrone – Every Breath (Lucky Date Remix) [RELEASE]

Personally I thought the original mix of “Every Breath”, a collaboration between house veteran John Dahlback, and Greg Cerrone (lyrics by Janice Robinson) was slightly too light, and the bass was just a little too weak for me. However, electro junky Lucky Date has seemed to remedy it with his synth filled, pitch heightened, bass banging remix. His production technique on this remix sounds oddly familiar to that of artist Albin Myers, but incorporates certain technical details that are signature to his style. Loving the remix, hope you guys enjoy!

John Dahlback – Pyramid (Albin Myers Remix) [PREVIEW]

There was a time where I had proclaimed Albin Myers to be the king of wobble. After somewhat of a slow year coming off of “The Beast” release via Musical Freedom, Albin is back and this time he gives us his take on John Dahlback’s classic ’09 anthem in “Pyramid.” This intense buildup leads to the massive hard hitting signature drop, the same kind of drop that put Albin to fame in his early years. It looks like the king of wobble is back!! Stay tuned for the release of this banger via Mutant Records very soon.

John Dahlback – Panic EP [RELEASE]

John Dahlback is arguably one of my favorite house producers in the game today. Everything he puts out is so far from all the mainstream commercial house that has been flooding EDM yet Dahlback always seems to have a unique creative take on all of his productions. Out today via Rising Music is his brand new 2 track “Panic” EP. Panic itself is my favorite of the two as Dahlback brings an incredible energy and vintage flow with a hard hitting melody throughout. Let me know what you think of this massive new EP from and ENJOY!!

John Dahlback – Sing That [RELEASE]

I’m sure many of you would agree with me about the fact that John Dahlback has been on absolute fire this past year, releasing track after track without giving us much of a break- not that we’re complaining. The release we are graced with, his newest track “Sing That”, does not fall short from his recent releases. In fact, it happens to be one of my favorites that he has released the entire year. This track features the classic Dahlback sound: deep, exotic chords decorated with drums that will just keep you moving. It’s true that I’m a bit biased, as I admittedly am a die hard Dahlback fan and probably would vouch for ANY of his tracks, but have a listen to the track yourself- it is if anything different and refreshing. Dahlback shows us especially with this tune that a track need not be complicated and embellished to be truly good. Let me know what you think and enjoy!!

John Dahlbäck – Comet (Original Mix) [RELEASE]

As August nears its end, be prepared to hear more and more anthems from DJ’s looking to leave their mark on a huge summer for EDM. John Dahlback delivers us a gem via Joia Records that will most definitely satisfy your house music needs. After a funky first drop, “Comet” progresses into a perfect rave anthem melody that will kill any crowd thats lucky enough to experience this bomb of a track. John Dahlback simply never fails to impress. Let me know what you think of “Comet” and stay tuned for a big year from the Swedish producer.

John Dahlback – Rebels (Original Mix) [RELEASE]

John Dahlback is traditionally somewhat of a progressive producer, and mainly sticks to putting out tracks like the ones he produced earlier this year such as “Life”, “Stockholm” and his remix of “Big”. However this track is different from what we are used to hearing from him, its a lot harder, and electro-based and even contains a little bit of wobble, something we might expect from an Albin Myers track. But Dahlback didn’t go too far outside of  his usual production zone and  still  maintained a little bit of a melodic anthem, something we are very used to by him. Overall I like the change and progression he is making by venturing into another type of sound and not just sticking to his roots, it’s an awesome track can’t wait for more!

John Dahlback – Life (Original Mix) [RELEASE]

Wow I absolutely love this track and almost every other track John Dahlback jumps on. I’ve been dying for another one of his massive beats ever since he put out his remix of Sneaky Sound System’s “Big”, which is possibly one of the best progressive tracks of all time. This preview sounds a lot like a sped-up, shorter version Deadmau5′s “Strobe” and I absolutely love it. If your not familiar with John Dahlback yet you better familiarize your self and quick cause he is a rising star in the house music world, and one of the best live performers I have ever seen. Enjoy this preview of his new original mix “Life” out now on Big Beat Records!

Zedd – Stars Come Out [THE REMIXES]

Off of Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak comes a new set of remixes to Zedd’s hit “Stars Come Out.” With some really catchy vocals, there was no doubt that these remixes would be out sooner or later. My favorite goes to the young gun Tim Mason who turns the track into a progressive house banger. Datsik gives us a dubstep remix, while Lazy Rich has his electro filled signature all over the track. John Dahlback gives us a more powerful “dubhouse” feel. Let me know which of these banging remixes you like the best. ENJOY!!

Toolroom Knights, by John Dahlback [RELEASE]

Coming off of an impressive 2011, John Dahlback has finally given us some brand new tracks to rave to. His latest production “Toolroom Knights” features a compilation of new and old tracks and mixes from Dahlback. Toolroom Knights shows us exactly why Dahlback is so talented, with amazing diversity throughout all of the songs on the album. I’ve posted the newest 3 tracks from the album in “Feel It,” “Escape,” and “Heroes” below. My favorite of the three has got to be “Feel It.” Another MUST DOWNLOAD from bleedhouse. Trust me, it doesn’t get much better than this. Let me know what you think!!!!!

Who knew Gaga would be so popular amongst DJ’s for a remix??? Today I give you an exclusive remix bundle to Lady Gaga’s “Marry The Night.” The winner for the best remix in my opinion has to be either Afrojack or Sander Van Doorn’s. Nick brings his signature dirty dutch feel to the track while Sander gives it a lot of progressive details and yet still manages to keep it banging. Zedd’s remix is solid but too simple for my liking. R3hab is well, r3hab; and I think Dahlback really didn’t do the best he could on this one. Let me know which one you like the best!

After giving us a taste of this banging electro remix with a sick preview, the up and coming Albin Myers releases his remix to Adrian Lux’s “Alive.” The swede is has been on fire this year, putting out tracks such as Wobble, Loud Noises, Halloween and now Alive. Let me know what you think!

Grunge (Original Mix) – John Dahlback - John Dahlback is another name you should start to become reckoned with if you havent already, hes big supporter of Albin Myers and this track is as dirty as it gets. Enjoy!!

You’re In My Heart – REMIXES

John Dahlback’s recent hit track “You’re In My Heart” has been rising in the charts and continues to please his forever growing progressive fan base. His song is known for its blissful and happy melody- but the newest remix to his track by Elektrokid, Timofey & Dave Lambert provide an unexpected twist to the song. I don’t know much about the trio, but the beauty of their remix is that while the essential melody of the track remains, hard-hitting sounds and pounding bass lines are added by the trio, enhancing the song in a different way. For those of you who are more into deep electro house, this remix is the one for you. As a bonus, I’m including another remix of the track by Sem Thomasson- a treat for the people who crave a sweeter sound. Enjoy!

THE JOKER (John Dahlback Remix)

Simply put, I pretty much worship John Dahlback. His eclectic style is extremely impressive: his sound ranges from the more progressive type of song such as “Pour Te” or “Winter”, to more hard-hitting beats like “Right There” and “Overdose”. His newest remix to “The Joker” is a typical Dahlback masterpiece- the track is embellished with electronic warped sounds and a funky drum beat. This track is a must download- Enjoy!

Anyone else missing electric zoo as much as I do? Here are two massive tracks that should make you want to go back even more. The first is a new dub by the Bassjackers from The Wanted’s “Glad You Came.” Massive bass in the buildup and a banging dutch like drop. The second is a new remix from Dahlback. This ones more of a feel good track; and im telling you give Dahlback one more year and he will be one of the top producers in the game. Enjoy!

Glad You Came (Bassjackers Dub) - The Wanted

Big (John Dahlback Remix) - Sneaky Sound System

John Dahlback is having a breakout year and with new hits like “Overdose,” there is no telling why. This track goes absolutely nutty at the drop @1:30 and its safe to say that this is my favorite song of the week. It will officially be released on Beatport Sept 12th. The second song “Senses” has a more laid back and chill feel to it than “Overdose” and this just shows you how diverse Dahlback can really be. I cant wait for his set at Electric Zoo this sunday! Enjoy and try not to overdose on this one ;)

Previews, keep em comin!

We loved Dahlback’s “One Last Ride” and Tommy Trash seemed too also, so much so, that he remixed it not so long after it’s preview, and his version of “One Last Ride” meshes very well with Dahlback’s style and preserves the great lyrics similar to those of every tear drop by shm, cant wait for the release of this one! And for those of you who love John Dahlback get ready to see him this weekend at Electric zoo! As always we will have the official version to you asap!

Enjoy some more of the Dahlback, on a preview of his remix of Sneaky Sound System’s “big”, and this song isn’t just big its HUGE, love this one give it a listen

Preview: One Last Ride

Dahlback is back at it again, this dude is on fire, we dropped a preview of his song your in my heart remixed by promise land a couple of days ago and he returns with this bomb, previewed earlier this summer at Summerburst, Sweden and has been popping since. Something about the lyrics in Dahlback’s songs has people going nuts, we love it, take a listen to a preview of One Last Ride ft. Erik Hassle, Enjoy!

One Last Ride

Bonus:Cicada – Fast Cars (DBN Remix)

This track is very similar sounding to One Last Ride, the same balance of lyrics and composition this one is definitely a little funkier though, with the bongos in the background there’s no way  to dislike this one!
