Calvin Harris & Ne-Yo – Let’s Go (Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa Remix) [RELEASE]

When Calvin Harris originally collaborated with Ne-Yo to compose their single “Let’s Go” I was excited to hear the finished product but also somewhat skeptical of the ramifications. Unfortunately the track became a way too overplayed mainstream radio single, which is a shame. However two Russian collaborative production groups who go by the names Swanky Tunes, and Hard Rock Sofa have combined to salvage what they could of this radio disaster and put together a completely different sounding remix of it. Debuted by Nicky Romero at Tomorrowland this past summer, the track has already started to gain popularity.

These two groups have been making music together for quite a while and it always results in a hit. Let me know what you think “Here We Go” and be sure to check out our recent interview with Hard Rock Sofa. ENJOY!!

Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa – The Edge [RELEASE]

It never ceases to amaze us the way Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes make such an impeccable team. Thinking back, the duo impressed us with more than just a couple of bangers; think “Steam Gun”, “Phantom”, “Smolengrad”, “United”…the list goes on. Coming off Afrojack’s Wall Recordings, this track is absolutely massive, featuring high pitched synths and big room bass that are the perfect ingredients for a grade A banger. Enjoy!!!

Release Date: May 28th

The Edge – Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa

There is no better feeling than waking up on a Sunday morning to some ear candy, especially in a house music drought like were in right now. Recently the big dogs and super producers have not been living up to expectations in the studio, mostly because they’re all busy on tours or doing holiday performances. But not to fear Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes who blew up in 2011 in the EDM world, are taking advantage of these artists absences and turning the game out! With bangers such as Quessar and a shit-load of remixes, these Russian House producers collaborations are works of art and unstoppable. They are taking over the entire industry and there is no telling what they will do next! Here’s a preview of their newest track together called “The Edge” and will undoubtably be a massive track in 2012, let us know what you think, and stay tuned!

I walked into Pier 94 this New Years Eve with high expectations, and am happy to say that they were definitely satisfied! The line coming in was longer than anything I had personally ever seen and the crowd was getting overly anxious. The only way you could really know how the atmosphere was like for Cazzette and Arty was if you had attended. I thought both opening sets were great as we heard some new tracks and ID’s such as Make Soome Room and Killmode, but the crowd was really starting to get rough. At one point it was almost impossible to move if you had gone up front as the pushing and shoving just got worse. Finally, the music stopped for a few seconds as Avicii took his throne, and opened his set with his famous “Levels” (shocker). I was a little bit weary about Avicii coming in, thinking that his sets are way too mainstream but at the end of the day, his music brought everyone together for a performance to go down in the history books. Tracks like Silhouettes, Fuck School, Don’t Give Up On Us, and Blessed are what makes Avicii so talented. It is his ability to make you zero in on the music over everything else.

If you had other New Years plans last night I hope you enjoyed as we look forward to a big 2012 for all of us. Relive New Years Eve and Pier 94 below with live sets, track lists, photos and videos. ENJOY!

Sending My Love (CAZZETTE REMIX)

Ever since we interviewed Cazzette, it seams like they have been on fire, putting out wild remixes like their “Titanium (Seeking Hamster Mix),” and their remix to Spencer & Hill’s “Believe It” and most recently to Avicii’s famous Levels. Here is a new remix, this time to R3hab and Swanky’s “Sending My Love.” If you’re into intense buildups, and wild dubhouse drops then this one is for you. ENJOY!

Sending My Love (Cazzette’s Already Super Human Remix) - R3hab & Swanky Tunes ft Max C

Seems like R3hab and Swanky Tunes have been in a little remix battle over the past few months. This time its to Kaskades “Eyes.” R3hab gets my vote in this one. He takes the calm soothing buildup+vocals and hits you with a dirrttty fucking drop. Loving what he did with this remix! Enjoy!

Eyes (R3hab Remix) - Kaskade feat. Mindy Gledhill

Eyes (Swanky Tunes Remix) - Kaskade feat. Mindy Gledhill

The Swedish duo just released their vocal mix to the banger “Happy Violence,” and a pair of two new remixes. One by Kaskade and the other by Swanky Tunes. Both have great unique qualities, the Swanky remix is more in tune with the original and Kaskade gives it a whole new spin. Let me know which you like best!

Check out a preview to another remix to Moby’s “After” by Peacetreaty. I havent heard a massive drop like this in a longgggggg time.

Calling- R3hab & Swanky Tunes Remix (PREVIEW)

With their recent remix of “Maximal Crazy” by Tiesto, the collaboration of swanky and R3hab is a clear match made in house music heaven, their sound and balance of beat and synth seems to be sitting pretty well with house music enthusiasts. R3hab has come a long way since he first started producing, and although he was snubbed by DJ mag’s top 100. he is securing him self a place among the worlds top DJ’s and is beyond up and coming, he’s here! Let me know what you think of this preview to Alesso and Ingrosso’s anthem “Calling.”

One Love,

Out on BeatPort today, come two new BANGING remixes to Tiesto’s “Maximal Crazy.” Personally I enjoy the original the best but R3hab and the Swanky Tunes team up to give a unique funky dutch like remix, and the Bassjackers take the original and put their signature style all over it. Let me know which remix you like the best. ENJOY!

WOW, didn’t expect this did you? A remix of Tiesto’s monumental club banger “Maximal Crazy” by R3hab and the Swanky Tunes, an unlikely collabo on this remix, but fuck it, it works! This preview will blow you away and just adds to the line up of music being brought to you this week, cant wait for this one to be released its a fucking bomb! The synth and short pauses before the lyrics set this one off! Enjoy

Swanky New Beat

This bomb was dropped by Axwell as he was ending his Carlsberg tour this past summer. Its a hard hitting banger, collaboration by the awesome duo of Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes, it has a hard hitting bass and a sample of the same “whoa” from Afrojack’s Prutataa, and a bunch of crazy synth loving it. You can catch in on BeatPort, and its got a pretty dank title too, give it a listen!

What an amazing weekend. First at Governors Island with Junior Sanchez, Thomas Gold and Steve Angello; then Identity Festival on Jones Beach (we will be posting recaps to both events soon!) For a nice start to the week, heres the high quality version of the banger we have been hearing so much about “Sending My Love.” R3hav and Swanky tunes join forces to give us this banger. ENJOY.

Sending My Love (Original Mix) - R3hab & Swanky Tunes feat. Max C

The Drughouse Anthem (Original Mix) - Artistic Raw - new artistic raw.. dutch like drop at 1:20

Paris Satisfaction (Chuckie Pass That Dutch Bootleg) - chuckie played this at his set at identity and i fucking love the mashup. Its between Jay-Z and Kanyes “Paris” vs Satisfaction and Pass that Dutch.

Has Chuckie been on a run or what? It seems like he has always been up there when talking about the best DJ’s for the past few years and he does not disappoint with his remix of bang it all. Trust me; you will be hearing this banger at your next rave.

Bang It All (Chuckie Remix) – Mastiksoul & Dada feat. Akon & Paul G

Daddyrock (Arty Remix) – Sander Van Doorn – From the start to about 3 min you’ll get a steady house song which then builds a long relaxing buildup and hits you with the hard trippy drop at 5.

Blizzard (Original Mix) – Patrick La Funk & Inpetto

Swanky tunes makes its bleed house appearance with two hits. I felt they deserved a post because both of these songs are big contributors to the progressive house movement and im all for it. Enjoy.

New Philosophy (Swanky Tunes Vocal Remix) – Hard Rock Sofa

The Sound Of The Times (Swanky Tunes Remix) – Robbie Rivera feat. Ana Criado
