Tommy Trash – Monkey See Monkey Do (Remix EP) [Release]

artworks-000041814214-k6yv03-t500x500The song that single-handedly turned me on to Tommy Trash back in November 2011, and perhaps his most underrated single, is now being re-edited by the Aussie himself. “Monkey See Monkey Do” portrays the signature Trash sound, and is a banger that will get a crowd pumped up in a matter of seconds. In this re-edit, Tommy keeps that amazing build up into, and then gives an even harder electro drop. This edit, along with remixes from Nom De Strip, Tom Staar, and Zero Hero, has now been released as a package via Mau5trap . Grab it on iTunes and let us know which your prefer!

Style of Eye & Tom Staar – After Dark (Original Mix) [Release]

After-Dark 2012 was Tom Staar’s break out year, as he went on a production tear remixing and producing a multitude of tracks his name gained popularity. Staar has recently teamed up with one of Afrojack’s Wall artist, Style of Eye to create this masterpiece. This track is extremely funky and very far from the ordinary.

Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child
(Tom Staar & Kryder Remix) [RELEASE]

Swedish House Mafia’s 6th and final production, “Don’t You Worry Child” seemed to live up to expectation, topping charts and astounding EDM fans around the world. However Tom Staar (the man behind this summer’s electro house chart topper, “African Drop”) has his own edit to contribute to this unique track. This remix, unlike “African Drop”, does not have some insane sort of build up and drop, but rather a completely different, synth filled & funky flow to offer to the already extremely recognizable song. Staar seems to have been aiming for a different demographic with this remix, where as the original mix is a hard core progressive track this is more of a catchy detailed electro beat.

Afrojack & Shermanology – Can’t Stop Me (Kryder & Staar Remix) [RELEASE]

The original edit of Afrojack & Shermanology’s track “Can’t Stop Me” has definitely received it’s fair share of hype and popularity. Fortunately, two of our favorite British producers come forth to put a completely different spin on it, taking a progressive, synth filled track and turning it into a massive electro banger that is clearly made for the dance floor. Nothing less was expected from a collaboration such as this one, what with Kryder’s classic electro drops that are always hard and pounding (think “K2″ or “Dynamo”). Tom Staar, another rising producer, recently showed his true colors after releasing his remix to “African Drop” and of course, his recent banging original track off Mau5trap records, “Home”. This track is slightly dark and fun at the same time, one that is definitely worth a listen. Download and enjoy!
